This quick and easy version of the baked cannelloni dish perfect to all who will love the crunchiness oatmeal breaded chicken , cheese filling and tomato sauce.
Ingredients
- cannelloni tubes
- A few chopped parsley
- Grated Parmesan cheese
- Grated Cheddar Cheese for toppings
For the Filling:
- 500g chicken breast
- oatmeal
- 225g fat-free natural cottage cheese
- Roasted Sesame
- Roasted Thyme
- Chopped fresh mint
- 2 egg yolk
- Salt and ground black pepper
For the Sauce:
- Cream Cheese
- Pinch of sugar
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- Salt and ground black pepper
- Tomatoe paste
- Chopped White onion
- Balsamic Vinegar
- Butter
- Soda Water
- Cook the cannelloni tubes like cooking spaghetti pasta.
- For Fillings, cut the chicken breast into strips then breaded it with oatmeal, egg,cottage cheese, roasted sesame and thyme, chopped mint,salt, sugar & ground pepper. Then fried .
- Mix cream cheese to the fritters . Spoon the filling into the cannelloni tubes and arrange them in an ovenproof dish.
- Mix the tomatoes paste with sugar, garlic , balsamic vinegar and seasoning , & soda water together and pour over the cannelloni. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C/180°C Fan/Gas Mark 6 for about 15minutes, until bubbling and golden brown.
- Make the mascarpone sauce – cream cheese , butter with onion.
- On plating. Lay the tubes, side by side, on top of the tomato sauce and spoon over the mascarpone sauce. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese. And Serve…
